Guest Posting Guidelines

Would you like to have your Guest Post published on the PayKickstart Blog?

Follow our Guidelines to see how you can contribute to our Blog page.

PayKickstart is a SaaS that is reinventing the modern-day shopping cart and affiliate management, helping thousands of businesses and Entrepreneurs sell more, maximize customer lifetime value and automate subscription commerce.

At PayKickstart, we use our blog to help entrepreneurs and businesses stay up to date with the industry news. Often updated, our blog is a place where people can read about growth hacks, e-commerce strategies, get familiarized with reporting metrics, payment processors, upsell tactics and more.

If you are an exceptional writer and/or designer and would like to share your knowledge and skills with a large audience of entrepreneurs, business owners, developers, marketers, affiliates and growth hackers, we would be happy to hear from you!

Please carefully review our guidelines as it should answer any questions you may have about the submission process and the content type we are looking for.

Guest Post Requirements

For a guest post to be published it would have to match our main criteria. All blog posts have to be thorough and focus on topics such as Payment Processing, Affiliate or Referral Marketing, Conversions, Revenue Retention, Customer Communication, Growth Hacks, Reporting and Metrics, and similar topics.

You should strive to make your posts instructional and useful to other readers, creating content that users would be able to learn and grow from or share useful tactics that can be implemented in business models.

Here’s what we are looking for:

  • Original high-quality articles. We do not accept anything that has already been published or plagiarized. Keep in mind that all articles will be checked for plagiarism.
  • Match our blog’s writing style. We want articles to be compelling, helpful and instructional for our readers, but written in a casual style. Write like you are explaining it to your friend, just try to stay away from using jargon and bad words.
  • We are looking for an angle in the post that has some form of “X” factor.  We don’t want to read the “obvious” that everyone already knows. Surprise us and the reader with some insights and examples or even case studies.
  • Practice good use of references and data. If you use an outside source, such as someone’s research or a study, make sure you reference it and use the data/graphs properly.
  • You can place one hyperlink to your blog or website in the article, plus one hyperlink to your blog or website in your author profile.
  • You must interlink to a least three to five other PayKickstart blog posts in your article that are relevant to the topic you are writing about.
  • Include screenshots or images to show visually how to do something or illustrate a point.
  • Proper attribution of data, quotations, and outside content referenced in the article. Note: All data should have originated within the last two years.
  • Each post should consist of approximately 1500-3000+ words.
  • All sources should be properly cited and fact-checked.

Approximate word count on current posts: 1750

Type of content

There are different types of content on our blog. Each article is unique, written to represent the subject in the best way possible.

We accept:

  • Complete articles – Please do not send us pitches or unedited drafts. We only accept complete articles.
  • Original articles – We are more than happy to publish original content and promote you as an author.
  • Graphic posts – This type of content relies heavily on the use of images, slides and other visual aids created by the author. However, the content shouldn’t suffer. It should cover the topic completely, be easy to read and make good use of the graphics.
  • Analysis – Analytical and experimental articles are always fun to read. If you recently ran an experiment related to marketing, e-commerce and business metrics; or you have a good analytical article on the subject and want to share it, we are happy to read and publish it.
  • Instructional posts – A lot of our own articles are instructional and try to help our readers understand and do something easily. If you feel you can write a helpful instructional article, go right ahead and send it to us.

We do not accept:

  • Promotional articles
  • Inaccurate, offensive or plagiarized content
  • Articles made for link-building
  • Topics that were covered on our blog previously
  • Pitches or drafts
  • Copyrighted material and images

Here are a few great examples:
